The sights and sounds of sweet summer are fleeting and fading. Now prepare to go back in black as the basics have returned to the runways, and into your wardrobe closets. Get inspired by dresses, belted tunics, skirts over tights, turtleneck dresses, pewter trench coats, prep school chic, and tons of dark colors -- violet, forest greens, browns, greys. It looks like you should stand under an umbrella with these overcast looks.
So go on with your bad self. Go en vogue with a bucket or fisherman hat. Mix some old with the new. Splash some subtle color on that drab outfit. Make a conscious effort to try organic cotton. Take back warm Sundays with a large sweater and skinny pants. Put on those rock-and-roll shoes, leather pants, and skyhigh bouffant. You'll fit right in this fall season.
